The rapid advancement of digital technology has fundamentally transformed learning resources in Islamic education by expanding access to knowledge, enhancing learning flexibility, and promoting interactive educational experiences. This study aims to examine the transformation of Islamic education learning resources in the digital era, identify emerging opportunities and challenges, and analyze their implications for teaching and learning practices. The research employed a qualitative literature review approach by systematically examining scholarly publications, books, and scientific reports published between 2020 and 2026. Data were collected through document analysis from reputable academic databases and analyzed using thematic content analysis to identify recurring patterns, major themes, and research trends. The findings reveal that digital learning resources, including electronic books, learning management systems, educational applications, multimedia platforms, and artificial intelligence based technologies, have significantly contributed to improving accessibility, learner engagement, and instructional effectiveness in Islamic education. Nevertheless, the transformation also presents challenges related to digital literacy, information credibility, unequal technological access, and the need to preserve Islamic values in digital learning environments. The study concludes that the effective integration of digital learning resources requires comprehensive digital competence among educators, institutional support, and value based educational strategies to ensure that technological innovation strengthens both academic quality and the character development objectives of Islamic education.
