Allegation of Research Misconduct

Al’Ulum: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam upholds the highest standards of integrity and ethics in academic publishing. The journal strictly prohibits any form of research misconduct, including but not limited to fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, duplicate submission, citation manipulation, and unethical authorship practices.

If an allegation of research misconduct is reported, the editorial team will conduct a thorough and fair investigation following the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). During the investigation, all parties involved, authors, reviewers, and editors, will be treated with confidentiality and fairness. Authors will be given the opportunity to respond to the allegations.

If misconduct is confirmed, Al’Ulum: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam will take appropriate corrective actions, which may include rejection or retraction of the article, notification to the author’s institution, and/or publication of a formal retraction statement. The journal reserves the right to refuse future submissions from authors found to have engaged in serious research misconduct.

Through this policy, Al’Ulum: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam seeks to maintain the credibility, transparency, and trustworthiness of the scholarly record.
