This study aims to describe the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning media at SMP Negeri 1 Sekampung, East Lampung Regency, and to analyze its impact on learning effectiveness and student motivation. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews with the principal, two PAI teachers, and eight purposively selected students, as well as documentation. Results indicate that AI-based media planning has been systematically integrated into lesson plans through applications such as Kahoot, Quizizz, and ChatGPT. Implementation shows increased active student participation, improved understanding of abstract concepts, and enhanced learning motivation through interactive and personalized experiences. Evaluation reveals that AI provides automatic feedback, facilitates personalized learning, and enhances teacher efficiency in assessment. However, obstacles include unstable internet connectivity, limited student devices, and teachers' digital literacy gaps.
