The Impact of Implementing the Ubudiyah and Akhlaqul Karimah Competency Standards (SKUA) Program on Shaping Students’ Spiritual Attitudes

Abstract

The objective of this study is to empirically test the impact of the SKUA program’s implementation on the development of students’ spiritual attitudes at MTs Negeri 02 Pacitan. The research method used was a quantitative approach with an ex-post facto design. The research population comprised all 104 seventh-grade students at MTs Negeri 02 Pacitan, with a selected sample of 85 students determined using the Slovin formula. Data were collected via a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using simple linear regression with the aid of IBM SPSS 22. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of SKUA has a significant effect on students’ spiritual attitudes (t-calculated 2.028 > t-table 1.988; sig. 0.004 < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.470 indicates that this program contributes 47% to the formation of students’ spiritual attitudes. The benefits of this study scientifically prove that SKUA is an effective instrument for fostering
